New features
Cloud Studio

Global connections (beta)
A global connection is a connection created by an administrator at the organization level, either from the Global Connections (beta) page or by promoting a project-level connection through its actions menu. Once added to an environment, a global connection becomes accessible across that environment’s projects for creating project-level activities. For beta access, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM). -
New connectors
There are 2 new connectors available for use with private agents 10.1 or later:-
Apache Parquet: Query or create object data in Apache Parquet.
-
Jira Service Management: Query, create, update, or delete object data in Jira Service Management.

Enhancements
Agent, Cloud Studio, and Design Studio
-
NetSuite WSDL version 2022.2 support
Jitterbit has verified support for NetSuite WSDL version 2022.2 using agents version 10.33 and later with the Cloud Studio NetSuite connector and the Design Studio NetSuite connector. -
Salesforce API version 57 support
Salesforce API version 57 is now supported for these connectors:-
The Cloud Studio Salesforce, Salesforce Service Cloud, and ServiceMax connectors use API version 57 automatically with the use of a 10.69 or 11.7 agent.
-
The Design Studio Salesforce connector provides the option to use API version 57 with the use of both a 10.69 or 11.7 agent and 10.69 version of Design Studio. When opening an existing Design Studio project that uses this connector and meets both of these version requirements, you will be prompted to upgrade to Salesforce API version 57.

App Builder
-
OData API support for basic authentication
App users can now access a published app's data via the App Builder OData API using basic authentication and personal access tokens (PATs). An app administrator must enable PATs for users before they can generate PATs for themselves. This enables users to access app data through applications such as Power BI and Tableau. -
Access to apps in deleted environments
Apps in deleted environments are now displayed in a disabled state on the apps page. Apps in this state can still be exported and imported into another environment.
Cloud Studio
-
App Builder connector support for updates using external IDs
The App Builder Update activity request schema now has anexternal_id
field (for single record updates) and anexternal_ids
field (for bulk record updates) that can be used in place of the existing internalids
field. -
Coupa API version R35 support
The Coupa connector now uses the Coupa R35 Core Platform API. With this upgrade, additional objects and fields are available in the connector. -
HTTP v2 (beta) display of the full URL for each activity
In the HTTP v2 (beta) activity configuration screen, the field HTTP Activity URL has been renamed to Path, and the full activity URL is now displayed below it. The full activity URL consists of the HTTP v2 (beta) connection’s Base URL concatenated with the activity Path. -
Jira, Microsoft Teams, and VTEX editable schemas
Any request and response schemas generated for any Jira, Microsoft Teams, or VTEX activities can now be edited to change the request and response structures as needed. -
Workday API version 37.0 through 39.2 support
The Version menu in a Workday connection now includes Workday Web Services (WWS) API version 37.0, 37.1, 37.2, 38.0, 38.1, 38.2, 39.0, 39.1, and 39.2 as available selections.
Harmony platform
- BMC OAuth 2.0 SSO organization-specific URL
When configuring Harmony SSO with OAuth 2.0 and BMC as the OAuth provider, a new Enable SSO URL checkbox is present that, when selected, displays the organization-specific URL to be used in BMC Helix iPaaS.
Fixes
API Manager
- Deleted APIs can now be re-published
When attempting to publish an imported API that was previously published in the same environment, exported, and then deleted, the error Service root and Version already exist for the environment no longer occurs.
App Builder
- Records from multiple flat relations are now shown
When multiple relations on a parent field are defined with a View Type on Detail Page set to Flat, the related records are now shown as expected. Previously, viewing records from only one flat relation was supported.
Cloud Studio
-
Script output with new script parser is now as expected
When using the Enable New Jitterbit Script Parser setting in project-level deployment settings with a script that contains[]
as the argument to a Jitterbit function within the script, the script output is now as expected. -
HTTP v2 (beta) connection now requires region for AWS Signature authentication
The Region field in an HTTP v2 (beta) connection is now required to be completed when the authentication type is AWS Signature. -
Jira connection test now works with non-admin credentials
When using an on-premises Jira instance, a Jira connection test no longer requires the Administer Jira global permission for the test to be successful. -
ServiceNow connection error at runtime resolved
When running an operation that uses the ServiceNow connector, the error Username and Password must be provided to set up a connection no longer occurs when a valid username and password are configured. -
Snowflake custom queries can now be used
In the Build your query step of a Snowflake Query activity, to use a custom query manually entered in the Query String area, select the new checkbox Use Static Schema. Previously, when a custom query was entered and then tested successfully, the Next button was disabled and you could not use the custom query. -
Stripe Delete activity now works for certain objects
A Stripe Delete activity configured with the following objects now works as expected: Bank Account, Source, Product, Card, Customer, and Coupon. Previously, an error occurred and data failed to be deleted. -
VTEX activity schema data types corrected
The VTEX Read activity response schema now uses the correct data type instead of a string for the following item fields returned by the Orders object > Get Order action:content
(object),attachments
(array),priceTags
(array),components
(array),bundleItems
(array),params
(array), andofferings
(array). In addition, the SKUUnitMultiplier

Jitterbit’s intention to stop distributing private agent 10.x
Jitterbit intends to stop distributing a 10.x private agent version within the next several Harmony releases. Since Harmony release 10.63 / 11.1, both a 10.x and 11.x private agent version have been distributed with these differences:-
11.x versions: In 11.1 and later versions, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the private agent is now version 14.5-1.
-
10.x versions: Current 10.x versions are packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL. The distributed 10.x versions will continue to be supported in accordance with Jitterbit’s end-of-life policy.
Note
Upgrading to an 11.x Windows private agent from 10.x requires a complete uninstall. Follow the documented instructions to complete the upgrade. Linux private agents can be upgraded as usual from any 10.x version.

Shopify connector, Cloud Studio
- Shopify Fulfillment API deprecation
Shopify has announced it is deprecating some endpoints on its Fulfillment API on June 30, 2023. Customers with Cloud Studio projects using the Shopify connector with deprecated Fulfillment API endpoints must reconfigure the connector as soon as possible, or operations using the deprecated API endpoints will begin failing after June 30, 2023. For additional information, see details on impacted projects and required user action.

HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.Warning
As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
