10.87 / 11.25 Harmony release notes¶
10.87 / 11.25 Harmony release¶
This page includes release notes for all generally available components being released as part of 10.87 / 11.25. Compilations of release notes for Production Cloud Agent Groups, Sandbox Cloud Agent Groups, and private agents are also available.
The 10.87 / 11.25 release is staggered based on the dates and times as listed below by component and region. You can subscribe to maintenance notifications for web-based components at Jitterbit Trust. Locally installed components are available from the downloads page (except for the Docker private agent, which is available at Docker Hub). The end-of-life date for these components is one year after the release date.

New features¶
Cloud Studio¶
-
New connectors
The following new connectors can be used with private agents to interact with the connected endpoint. These v2 connector versions are recommended over the previously released versions of these connectors, as they have usability improvements to the connection configuration UI or additional properties that can be configured.
Enhancements¶
Cloud Studio¶
-
Project folders
Projects are now organized into two folders along the left side of the Projects page:-
Projects: Shows accessible projects (those that are not trashed or permanently deleted).
-
Trash: Shows projects that are trashed and can be restored or permanently deleted.
-
-
Ability to define a custom API method
When publishing an operation as an API, a request method ofCUSTOM
can now be selected for an API service. When selected, you provide the Custom Method Name. This aligns Cloud Studio capabilities with those provided while creating an API in API Manager. -
Confirmation message of iterator line reconfiguration
In a transformation, when a field under a source-looping child node is mapped to a target field in a flat node in a lower hierarchical level, a confirmation message is now shown for you to acknowledge that the iterator line will be reconfigured. Previously, this reconfiguration occurred without notification. -
Visual indication of iterator lines that connect different hierarchical levels
In a transformation, any iterator lines that connect different hierarchical levels are now shown with an informationali
icon next to the node name that provides more information when clicked. Thei
icon appears only in transformations where the confirmation message of iterator line reconfiguration has been acknowledged. -
Visual indication of collapsed nodes with loop node mappings
In a transformation, collapsed nodes that contain loop node mappings are now shown with a dotted iterator line. -
General availability of listening activities
The following connector activities that use Jitterbit’s listening service are no longer beta and are now generally available. These activities are supported only on private agents. -
Connection usability improvements and updates
The following connectors have usability improvements to the connection configuration UI or additional properties that can be configured: -
Amazon S3 connector new activities
The Amazon S3 connector has two new activities that can be used to move an object from one bucket to another or delete keys from a specific bucket at Amazon S3. -
BMC Helix Business Workflows connector new activities
The BMC Helix Business Workflows connector has four new activities that can be used to search, get, create, or update tasks at BMC Helix Business Workflows. -
Google Sheets connector ability to configure a custom timeout
A Google Sheets connection has new Connection timeout and Read timeout fields in its Optional Settings that can be used to make the connection and request timeouts shorter or longer than the default of 20 seconds. -
Jira connection configuration simplified
When a Jira connection’s selected authentication mechanism is OAuth and the instance type is Jira Cloud, the Hostname field is no longer available to configure, as this information is handled automatically. -
Jitterbit MQ connector error messaging improved
Providing a value forMessageID
in a Jitterbit MQ Send or Send Bulk activity that is more than the maximum allowed 255 characters now results in a more meaningful and specific error message. -
Shopify connector API version 2024-01 support
Shopify REST Admin API version 2024-01 is now available to select in the API Version menu of a Shopify connection.
Management Console¶
-
Activities page UI redesign and rename to Runtime Operations
The Activities page has been redesigned with an updated UI and renamed to Runtime Operations. In addition, the date and time input for operation log queries is now based on your local time zone instead of UTC. -
Projects page Endpoints tab shows more endpoints
The Projects page Endpoints tab now shows endpoints created with any Jitterbit-provided or custom-built Connector SDK connector. (Whether a Jitterbit-provided connector is a Connector SDK connector is indicated in each connector’s documentation.) Previously, only 3-legged OAuth-enabled endpoints were shown.
Changes¶
Agent, API gateway, and Design Studio¶
- General updates
Agents, API gateway, and Design Studio have general updates to improve security and performance.
Fixes¶
API Manager¶
-
API Analytics page no longer errors with many filters applied
When using a combination of many filters on the API Manager analytics page, a 500 error is no longer returned due to the length of the query being processed by the API gateway. Any combination of filters can now be processed. -
API Analytics page filter by custom period now works
The API Manager analytics page now returns data for filter queries that use a Custom Period.
Cloud Studio¶
-
BMC Helix ITSM connector fixes
Multiple fixes have been made to the BMC Helix ITSM connector:-
The connection now authenticates when the special character £ is used in a password.
-
The Merge activity now includes the
qualification
field in its request schema. -
The Delete activity configuration now provides the option to either (1) select a form from a list or (2) input the form name manually. In addition, custom form entries can now be deleted, and Continue on error is no longer present.
-
-
Connector Builder file schema dependencies are now set correctly
When using multiple instances of the same activity type of a connector created with Connector Builder, the appropriate dependencies for file schemas are now established. Previously, required file schemas could be deleted because they weren’t identified as dependencies, resulting in the inability to deploy operations with those dependencies. -
Jira connector schemas now include all fields
Schemas generated by Jira activities now include all fields for all issue types. Previously, not all custom fields were being included. -
Salesforce Query activity can now be used as the source in an archive operation
When attempting to deploy an operation using the Archive pattern with a Salesforce Query as the source activity, an error no longer occurs. -
Shopify connector schema fixes
Multiple fixes have been made to the Shopify connector:-
Shopify activity response schemas have been corrected to remove unused properties, which were causing warnings to be reported in operation logs. For this fix to be propagated to existing activities, you must manually refresh the response schema in transformations, recreate mappings, and redeploy the operation.
-
Shopify activity schemas for the Metafield object now include properties that were previously missing.

Agent¶
-
Private agent versions 10.x will no longer be updated
Jitterbit intends for private agent version 10.87 to be the final supported 10.x agent version distributed by Jitterbit.Since Harmony release 10.63 / 11.1, both a 10.x and 11.x private agent version have been distributed with these differences:
-
11.x versions: In 11.1 and later versions, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the private agent is now version 14.5-1.
-
10.x versions: Supported 10.x versions are packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL. The distributed 10.x versions will continue to be supported in accordance with Jitterbit’s end-of-life policy.
Important
To continue to receive private agent updates after this 10.87 release, including new features, enhancements, security patches, and fixes, upgrading to an 11.x private agent is required.
Upgrading to an 11.x Windows private agent from 10.x requires a complete uninstall. Follow the documented instructions to complete the upgrade. Linux private agents can be upgraded as usual from any 10.x version.

NetSuite connector, Cloud Studio, and Design Studio¶
-
HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.Warning
As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Jitterbit Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Jitterbit Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
