New features¶
Cloud Studio¶
-
New connectors
There are 3 new connectors available for use with the following agent types and versions:-
Google BigQuery: Query; invoke a routine for; transfer data to; insert or update records in; or create, update, or delete structures in a dataset in Google BigQuery.
-
Microsoft SharePoint 365: Query, create, update, or delete object data, or upload a file in Microsoft SharePoint 365.
-
SAP SuccessFactors: Query, create, update, or delete object data in SAP SuccessFactors Human Experience Management (HXM) Suite.
-
Enhancements¶
Agent¶
-
New Jitterbit variable to write the SOAP fault response
The new Jitterbit variablejitterbit.webservice.last_fault
captures the last XML-formatted fault response when referenced downstream of a Cloud Studio SOAP activity or Design Studio web service that returns a SOAP fault derived from a5XX
server error. -
Proxy support for Docker private agents
The Docker private agent image now supports installing private agents with a proxy configuration. To pass the required parameters, see Jitterbit’s Docker documentation.
App Builder¶
- Jitterbit-provided app templates
The Create New App dialog now provides four app templates to help you get started creating an app: Expense Management, Lead Tracking, Purchase Request, and Asset Tracking. The apps are available in the From Template tab, whose prior contents for importing a user-exported app have been moved to a new From File tab.
Cloud Studio¶
-
Google Pub Sub Listen Message (beta) activity
The Google Pub Sub connector has a new Listen Message (beta) activity that listens for messages published in Google Pub Sub. The activity must be run on a private agent in an operation that has event listening enabled. -
Shopify connector support for Shopify API version 2023-01
A Shopify connection now has the option to select the version of the Shopify REST Admin API, either 2022-04 (default) or 2023-01 (newly supported). The added support for 2023-01 enables you to migrate from deprecated Fulfillment API endpoints. For additional information, see details on impacted projects and required user action. -
Additional connector support for re-authentication
The Enable re-authentication on change security setting is supported by additional connectors, including HTTP v2 (beta), JMS, Linio, Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, and SAP Concur. -
Apache Log4j library upgrade
Connectors with critical vulnerabilities caused by version 2.17.0 of the Apachelog4j-core
andlog4j-api
libraries have been upgraded to Log4j library version 2.19.0. This addresses CVE-2022-45868, CVE-2022-42004, and CVE-2022-42003.
Changes¶
Cloud Studio¶
- Alternative Jitterbit script parser is now the default
All new and existing projects now use the alternative parser for Jitterbit scripts by default. If you experience unexpected script output, you can toggle off the Enable New Jitterbit Script Parser setting in project-level deployment settings.
Fixes¶
Agent¶
- Non-UTF-8 characters no longer cause child operations to fail
An intermittent issue has been fixed with cloud agents and Linux private agents where writing non-UTF-8 characters to a global variable resulted in unexpected log output and failure to execute child operations. The issue did not occur on Windows private agents.
API gateway¶
-
APIs no longer intermittently fail with a 502 error
In API Manager, some APIs no longer intermittently fail with a Bad Gateway (502) error resulting in a failure to trigger the operation.Note
This fix was previously released as a 10.62 patch. In this release, the gateway version was increased to match the code base of gateway version 10.62.1.
API Manager¶
- Bulk API export is now available in non-default organizations
When exporting a group of APIs within an organization that is not set as your default organization, the APIs to export are now populated for selection. Previously, the API selection area appeared empty in this scenario.
App Builder¶
- Imported APIs are now visible in App Builder
An API Manager API that has been imported into another environment and then published now automatically becomes available for selection in a microflow Call API step or a UI flow Call API Manager step.
Cloud Studio¶
-
Script comments are now retained
When using the new Jitterbit Script parser, after renaming a component referenced by a script that also contained comments, the comments no longer disappear.Note
This issue was fixed in a patch after the initial release (see Cloud Studio patch in the table earlier on this page).
-
Duplicate node no longer causes a transformation error
When passing data through a mapped child field of a duplicated node, a transformation error indicating the node cannot be created no longer occurs. To resolve this error in existing projects, you must remove and re-add the affected duplicate node. -
API SOAP Request can now be configured with a ZIP file
After uploading a ZIP file in an API SOAP Request activity and attempting to advance to the next configuration step, a 504 gateway timeout error no longer occurs. -
HTTP v2 (beta) AWS Signature connection test is now bypassed
When an HTTP v2 (beta) connection uses AWS signature authorization, a connection test is no longer executed immediately prior to executing associated activities, allowing activities to be successful in cases where a test of the connection fails. -
HubSpot verbose logs are now generated and OAuth 2.0 no longer fails
When connector verbose logging is enabled for the HubSpot connector, verbose logs are now generated as expected. In addition, HubSpot connections using OAuth 2.0 authentication no longer intermittently fail in some scenarios. -
SOAP connection ZIP upload no longer fails
Uploading a ZIP file in a SOAP connection no longer fails in certain circumstances related to the naming of referenced files.
Notices¶
Agent¶
-
Jitterbit’s intention to stop distributing private agent 10.x
Jitterbit intends to stop distributing a 10.x private agent version within the next several Harmony releases. Since Harmony release 10.63 / 11.1, both a 10.x and 11.x private agent version have been distributed with these differences:-
11.x versions: In 11.1 and later versions, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the private agent is now version 14.5-1.
-
10.x versions: Current 10.x versions are packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL. The distributed 10.x versions will continue to be supported in accordance with Jitterbit’s end-of-life policy.
Note
Upgrading to an 11.x Windows private agent from 10.x requires a complete uninstall. Follow the documented instructions to complete the upgrade. Linux private agents can be upgraded as usual from any 10.x version.
-
Shopify connector, Cloud Studio¶
- Shopify Fulfillment API deprecation
Shopify has announced it is deprecating some endpoints on its Fulfillment API on June 30, 2023. Customers with Cloud Studio projects using the Shopify connector with deprecated Fulfillment API endpoints must reconfigure the connector as soon as possible, or operations using the deprecated API endpoints will begin failing after June 30, 2023. For additional information, see details on impacted projects and required user action.
NetSuite connector, Cloud Studio, and Design Studio¶
-
HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.Warning
As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
