New features
Cloud Studio
- Square v2 (beta) connector
The Square v2 (beta) connector can be used to read, query, create, update, or delete object data in Square. In addition to support for the Customers object (which the existing Square connector supports), the Square v2 (beta) connector adds support for the Catalog, Customers, Inventory, Invoices, Orders, Payments, Subscriptions, and Terminal objects. For beta access, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Enhancements
API Manager
- API Groups UI enhancements
The user interface of the API groups page now organizes APIs by environment and displays information about each API, including its version, its service URL, and a table of its services and methods.
Cloud Studio
-
Global connections enhancements
Multiple enhancements have been made to the global connections feature:-
The design component palette Global Connections tab now has a Manage Global Connections button that opens the Global Connections page in a new tab.
-
The environment drawer on the Global Connections page now shows components that exist outside of any workflows and that are dependent on the global connection. These are shown for informational purposes only; while they do not affect any deployed logic, their existence in a project will prevent you from removing the connection in this environment.

-
Script error UI enhancement
You can now expand and resize the viewing area for script errors in the full script editor, allowing you to see more of long errors at once. -
Amazon SQS connector support for sending binary data
The request schema of an Amazon SQS Send Messages activity has a newbinaryValue
field that can be used to provide binary data by providing it in a Base64-encoded format. -
BMC Helix ITSM connector OAuth 2.0 support
A BMC Helix ITSM connection can now be configured with OAuth 2.0 authentication. -
Coupa API version R36 support
The Coupa connector now uses the Coupa R36 Core Platform API. -
Shopify Query and Get activity editable schemas
The schemas generated for Shopify Query and Shopify Get activities can now be edited to change the request and response structures as needed. -
Snowflake connector support for roles
A Role such asGENERAL
,PUBLIC
, orREADONLY
can now optionally be defined in a Snowflake connection. In addition, the Warehouse Name field has been changed from a required field to an optional field, as it is not required by some roles. -
Verbose logging support for additional connectors
The LDAP and Zendesk connectors now support connector verbose logging. The specific configuration entry of logger name and level is documented on the linked pages. -
Additional verbose logging details for multiple connectors
Enabling verbose logging with the Coupa, Google BigQuery, Magento, OData, and Shopify connectors results in the generation of additional log information beyond that already generated. To generate the additional log details, a new format of the configuration entry is required as documented on the linked pages.
Management Console
- Jitterbit MQ customizable table display
The table columns displayed in the Message Queues tab of the Message queues page can now be reordered or hidden from view. Click the new Filter Columns icon in the top right to open settings for customizing the display.
Fixes
Agent
- WSDL structures now show missing child nodes
After uploading a WSDL in a Cloud Studio SOAP connection or a Design Studio web service method, the resulting request and response structures now show all nodes as expected. Previously, child nodes from some WSDLs were not appearing.
API Manager
-
Analytics for a custom date range are now filtered correctly
On the Analytics page, when filtering API analytics based on a custom date and time range, the filtered data is now accurate for the specified range. Previously, data outside the range was being included. -
Testing an existing OAuth security profile now works as expected
Testing the configuration of an existing OAuth 2.0 security profile no longer results in the error[object Object]
. Instead, the configuration is now tested as expected, displaying either a message of success or relevant errors.
Cloud Studio
-
Operation log scroll position is now fixed after refresh
When an automatic refresh occurs while viewing operation logs, as commonly occurs when there are remaining operations in a running state, a user’s scroll position in the operation log now remains fixed. Previously, you would lose your place in the log as additional operation logs appeared. -
Erroneous editing conflicts no longer occur
An erroneous error indicating a conflict with another user no longer occurs when a single user has made edits to dependent components in quick succession. -
Coupa Query operators are now handled correctly
A value provided in theoperator
field of a Coupa Query activity request transformation is now sent to the endpoint using the expected syntax. -
Google BigQuery Query activity fixes
Multiple fixes have been made to the Google BigQuery Query activity:-
When newline characters are included in the Query String field, the query no longer fails at runtime with a syntax error reporting an illegal input character.
-
In configuration step 3, refreshing the Fields to Retrieve now also refreshes the selections in the Conditions list.
-
-
NetSuite Search activity custom fields
Custom fields recently added in NetSuite are now displayed after refreshing the activity configuration of an existing NetSuite Search activity. Previously, newly added custom fields were appearing only in an adjacent transformation. -
RabbitMQ activities no longer return basic information as null
RabbitMQ Get, Get Bulk, and Consume (beta) activities now return the expected values instead of null in the following fields:expiration
,messageId
,type
,timestamp
, anduserId
. -

During configuration of a Shopify Query activity for the Orders object and sub-objects Order, Calculates Refund, or Refund, fields related to refunds, such asorder_adjustments
, are now present in the request and response schemas. -
Snowflake Query and Merge activity fixes
Multiple fixes have been made to the Snowflake connector:-
A Snowflake Query activity whose query uses columns with spaces in their name no longer fails at runtime with a fatal error indicating the target tree for the path failed to be expanded.
-
A Snowflake Merge activity configured to use a temporary stage no longer produces an error at configuration step 3 indicating there was an error loading the request and response schemas. The schemas are now generated as expected.
-
-
Workday connector response can now be written to a flat file
When writing the response from a Workday Get activity to a flat CSV schema, the operation no longer fails at runtime with an error indicating the operation failed unexpectedly. In existing operations that have this issue, you must redeploy the operation to fix the issue.

Jitterbit’s intention to stop distributing private agent 10.x
Jitterbit intends to stop distributing a 10.x private agent version within the next several Harmony releases. Since Harmony release 10.63 / 11.1, both a 10.x and 11.x private agent version have been distributed with these differences:-
11.x versions: In 11.1 and later versions, the PostgreSQL database bundled with the private agent is now version 14.5-1.
-
10.x versions: Current 10.x versions are packaged with the existing 9.6.24-1 PostgreSQL. The distributed 10.x versions will continue to be supported in accordance with Jitterbit’s end-of-life policy.
Note
Upgrading to an 11.x Windows private agent from 10.x requires a complete uninstall. Follow the documented instructions to complete the upgrade. Linux private agents can be upgraded as usual from any 10.x version.

Agent and API gateway
- Supported operating systems updated
Jitterbit’s lists of supported operating systems for private agents and private API gateways have been updated to reflect the current supported systems.
Shopify connector, Cloud Studio
- Shopify Fulfillment API deprecation
Shopify has announced it is deprecating some endpoints on its Fulfillment API on June 30, 2023. Customers with Cloud Studio projects using the Shopify connector with deprecated Fulfillment API endpoints must reconfigure the connector as soon as possible, or operations using the deprecated API endpoints will begin failing after June 30, 2023. For additional information, see details on impacted projects and required user action.

HMAC-SHA1 deprecation and removal from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI
NetSuite is deprecating HMAC-SHA1 as a valid signature algorithm as previously announced (see NetSuite HMAC-SHA1 deprecation). To support these changes, Jitterbit intends to remove the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm from the Cloud Studio and Design Studio UI in an upcoming Harmony release.Warning
As the HMAC-SHA1 signature algorithm will no longer be supported by NetSuite or the Harmony NetSuite connectors, you should change any Harmony projects that are presently using HMAC-SHA1 as the signature algorithm to use HMAC-SHA256 as soon as possible to avoid issues with those integrations.
