Wevo iPaaS tools: Compress files

The Compress files tool allows you to generate files compacted in zip or gzip format during integration.

Use the Compress files tool

From the Tools menu, drag the Compress files tool to the flow's grid.

Click on the tool after you've dragged it to the grid in order to configure the parameters.

• Compress Name: Enter a name for the compacted file.

• File Base64: Base64 is a data encoding method. In this field, enter the Base64-encoded format of the file to be compacted. You may use your preferred software or online service to do the encoding.

• File Name: The name of the file that will be used.

• File Extension: Specify the format of the file to be compacted (for instance, .txt, .pdf, .doc, etc).

• Compress Type: Choose the type of compression, whether zip or gzip.

After defining these settings, use the Mapping tab to select which output of the previous action to use.
