Retirement of Jitterbit Data Loader

Jitterbit Cloud Data Loader (Data Loader), Jitterbit's basic Salesforce data migration tool, has been retired from general availability as of November 2025.

The retirement includes these key actions:

  • No new releases: Development, updates, and maintenance releases have been discontinued.
  • Registration closed: New users can no longer register for Data Loader.
  • Installer removed: The Data Loader installer has been permanently removed from the Harmony portal Downloads page, and is no longer available for new installations.

Why did Jitterbit retire Data Loader?

Jitterbit's strategic focus is on enhancing and expanding our core platform, Jitterbit Harmony. Retiring Data Loader allows Jitterbit to concentrate development and support resources on its primary products to deliver advanced solutions for critical customer needs.

For current Data Loader users

If you currently have Jitterbit Data Loader installed, the application will continue to function based on your current configuration.

  • Support policy: Data Loader was historically offered as a free, unsupported product. Jitterbit will not provide technical support, bug fixes, patches, or assistance for any issues encountered with this retired product.

  • New installations: New installations are not possible as the installer has been removed from all download locations.

For current Data Loader Plus users

Jitterbit Data Loader Plus customers who previously purchased an official support subscription for Data Loader have these exceptions:

  • Renewal exception: Existing Data Loader Plus customers may renew their subscriptions specifically for support services.
  • Renewal process: To renew, customers must contact their Account Manager or the Jitterbit Sales team for assistance.
  • No feature updates: Renewed subscriptions cover support for the current version only. They do not include new feature releases, updates, or compatibility fixes.
  • New subscriptions: Data Loader Plus is not available for new subscriptions.

For reference by existing Data Loader users, Data Loader release notes and documentation have been archived in the Jitterbit Documentation Archive.

We strongly recommend that all users of Jitterbit Data Loader and Data Loader Plus evaluate a migration to the Jitterbit Harmony platform.
