Operation settings in Jitterbit Integration Studio
Overview
After an operation is created, you can further configure the operation using its operation settings. The operation settings screen includes three tabs, covered respectively on these pages:
-
Operation schedules
Configure operations to run automatically using schedules that define when they execute. You can create flexible schedules like every Friday at 5 pm, the last Friday of each quarter, or hourly on specific days. -
Operation actions
Configure each operation with success or failure actions, such as running another operation or sending email notifications. This creates an operation chain where downstream operations trigger based on their upstream parent operations. -
Operation options
Configure operation options to control timeouts, logging, and data processing. Most operations work well with default settings, but you can customize them for specific needs.
Access operation settings
The Settings option for operations is accessible from these locations:
- The project pane's Workflows tab (see Component actions menu in Project pane Workflows tab).
- The project pane's Components tab (see Component actions menu in Project pane Components tab).
- The design canvas (see Component actions menu in Design canvas).
- The design canvas by double-clicking the operation (opens Settings directly).
