Change logs in Jitterbit App Builder

Introduction

Certain changes to an an app are recorded and can be viewed as a change log. A change log is a high-level overview of app change, presented in an easy-to-read fashion:

You can view and download (as CSV files) change logs for the following data objects:

  • Applications
  • Pages
  • Data
  • Rules
  • Solutions
  • Tables

Where available, change logs include the name and type of modified objects.

Old change logs are purged according to the Audit Retention Days value in Audit Config.

To download the change log as a .csv file, click the Save to CSV icon.

View an application's change log

To see an application's change log, follow these steps:

  1. Select App Workbench.

  2. Select App Settings.

  3. Select More > Changelog.

View a page's change log

To see a page's change log, follow these steps:

  1. Select App Workbench.

  2. Select Pages.

  3. Select More > Changelog.

View a data source's change log

To see a data source's change log, follow these steps:

  1. Select App Workbench.

  2. Select Data Sources.

  3. Select the data source, then click the Changelog button in the Business Logic Layer section.

View an rule's change log

To see a rules's change log, follow these steps:

  1. Select App Workbench.

  2. Select Rules.

  3. Click the Open record icon for a rule.

  4. On the Rule Builder page, select More > Changelog.

View a solution's change log

To see a solution's change log, follow these steps:

  1. Select IDE > Create Release.

  2. In the Create a Release tab, click the icon in the Changelog column for a solution (release).

View a table's change log

To see a table's change log, follow these steps:

  1. Select App Workbench.

  2. Select Tables.

  3. Click the Open record icon for a table.

  4. On the Table page, select More > Changelog.
