Enhancements
Agent and Design Studio
- Default character encoding changed to UTF-8
Starting with agent version 12.7 and Design Studio version 11.63, the default character encoding for the Harmony platform has changed from Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1) to UTF-8. If your integration requires a specific character encoding, configure it explicitly using the character encoding variables.
Agent
-
Proxy support for native observability metrics
A private agent's native observability feature, which reports metrics through the Management Console Agents page, now automatically inherits the agent's proxy configuration when the agent communicates through a proxy server. -
Apache Tomcat upgrade
The Apache Tomcat server included with the agent has been upgraded to improve security and performance.
Agent, Studio, and Design Studio
-
Salesforce API version 66 support
Salesforce API version 66 (Spring '26) is now supported by the following connectors:-
The Studio Salesforce connector automatically uses this API version for non-bulk activities when its connection is configured with OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials and used with 12.7 or later agents.
-
The Design Studio Salesforce connector supports this API version with the use of both 12.7 or later agents and Design Studio version 11.63 or later. When both these version requirements are met, an API upgrade dialog is shown when opening existing projects using this connector.
-
API Manager, EDI, and Harmony portal
- Expand and resize controls for AI assistant panels
The AskJB AI, APIM AI Assistant, and EDI AI Assistant panels now include an Expand control to make the panel wider. The panels can also be manually resized by dragging the panel's left edge. When a panel is expanded, use the Minimize icon to return to the previous view.
API Manager and Management Console
- Runtime and API Logs CSV export option to include log messages
The Download as CSV option on the Management Console Runtime page and API Manager API Logs page now opens a Download logs dialog where you can select Include messages to add full log message content to the export.
EDI
-
Two-tier document type filter on the Transactions page
On the Transactions page, the Filters pane now groups the All document types filter into two tiers: a general document type (such as Order or Invoice) that you can expand to reveal its specific subtypes, each identified by its document type code (such as 850 or 810). Select a general document type to filter by all of its subtypes at once, or select one or more subtypes to filter by only those. -
EDI AI Assistant support for querying non-compliant documents
The EDI AI Assistant now supports searching for documents that failed compliance checks. You can optionally filter results by partner name, document type, direction, status, or date range. If 20 or fewer matching documents are found, the assistant lists the document IDs; if more than 20 are found, the assistant offers to group results by partner or refine the search.
Management Console
- Additional password policy settings editable in SSO-enabled organizations
On the Organizations page, two User Management policies, Require special character(s) in password and Require Two-factor authentication (TFA), can now be edited after Harmony single sign-on (SSO) is enabled for an organization. These settings apply to users on the organization's Bypass SSO list.
Studio and Management Console
-
AI-generated line completion in the Jitterbit script editor
The Studio Jitterbit script editor can now display AI-generated line suggestions inline as you type, which you apply by pressingTab. The feature is controlled by two new settings:-
Organization policy: An organization administrator enables AI-generated line completion through the Allow full line code completion in Jitterbit script editor policy on the Studio tab of the Management Console Organizations page. This policy is disabled by default.
-
Project setting: Once the policy is enabled, the Enable full line code completion suggestion in Jitterbit script editor setting on the Advanced tab of project creation and configuration controls the feature per project.
-
Studio
-
Diff view for selective transfer and import
You can now preview the changes to a conflicting script or transformation before transferring or importing it. Click the View changes button to open a side-by-side comparison, with removed lines in red and added lines in green. The button appears for components in the Overwrite category during a selective transfer, and for conflicting components during a selective import. -
Project history field-level detail for connector configuration
The project history now logs field-level detail for connector endpoint and activity configuration changes, including authentication fields. -

Updated CPU capability default values for private agents
The default values ofCpuConsecutiveFailureThresholdandCapabilityRefreshCooldownin the[AgentCapability]section ofjitterbit.confhave changed:-
CpuConsecutiveFailureThreshold(introduced in 12.6) now defaults to3(previously1), requiring three consecutive CPU threshold violations before the agent transitions from Capable to Incapable. -
CapabilityRefreshCooldownnow defaults to1(previously2), reducing the cooldown period in seconds before capability status refreshes after the agent becomes incapable.
-
API gateway
- General changes
The API gateway has general changes for maintenance and performance.
Studio SDK connectors
- Removal of deprecated OpenAI models
Six deprecated OpenAI models have been removed from the Model dropdown in the OpenAI Prompt and Register Tools activities:gpt-4-turbo-preview,gpt-4-vision-preview,gpt-4-32k,gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct,babbage-002, anddavinci-002. These models are no longer supported by OpenAI and would return errors if used.
Fixes
Agent and Design Studio
-
Multibyte character fixes
The following fixes resolve issues with operation failures, incorrect output, incorrectly displayed characters, and inaccessible files and backups. These fixes apply when using agent version 12.7 or later:
-
The
WriteToOperationLogfunction now writes multibyte characters to the operation log correctly. Previously, these characters were corrupted. -
The
GetEnvironmentNamefunction now returns multibyte characters correctly, so comparisons against environment names that contain them succeed. -
The
StringLengthfunction now counts multibyte characters correctly rather than counting bytes. A newjitterbit.script.string.utf8sizevariable controls this behavior and defaults totrue; set it tofalseto use the legacy byte count. -
The
ToLower,ToUpper, andToProperfunctions now convert the case of multibyte characters correctly. Previously, they could leave a multibyte character's case unchanged or incorrectly change the case of an adjacent character. -
Fixed-width text files now calculate field widths by character count rather than byte count, so multibyte characters no longer shift column positions. A new
jitterbit.text.fixed_width_use_byte_lengthvariable controls this behavior and defaults tofalse; set it totrueto use the legacy byte-based width. -
Operation schedules whose names contain multibyte characters no longer fail to run. Previously, certain characters in a schedule name could interrupt the agent's database connection and prevent the operation from executing on the schedule.
These fixes require both agent version 12.7 or later and Design Studio 11.63 or later:
-
NetSuite query operations that contain multibyte characters no longer fail with an XML parsing error.
-
The Test web service call feature now displays multibyte characters correctly in the target.
-
Project backups deployed with multibyte characters in the deployment tag can now be downloaded from the Management Console Projects page.
-
Agent
-
Improved agent stability under concurrent API request processing
Agents are more resilient when handling concurrent API-triggered requests, resolving a crash that could occur during processing. -
FromDataLoaderDateTimefunction now parses European-format dates
The deprecatedFromDataLoaderDateTimefunction in Design Studio now correctly parses European-format dates using a dot (DD.MM.YYYY) or hyphen (DD-MM-YYYY) as the date separator. Previously, these formats returned error 1007Unparseable date.
API Manager
-
Regenerate Docs no longer produces empty OpenAPI documentation
The Portal Manager Regenerate Docs button now generates OpenAPI documentation for all custom and proxy APIs in an environment. Previously, generating documentation for an environment whose API services referenced certain operations could produce a specification with no operations defined. -
Wildcard search in API log messages is now supported
The Queries search bar on the API Logs page now correctly handles the%wildcard character inmessagefilter searches. Previously, using%in a message search (for example, message=%final client%) caused an error and returned no data. -
Large API log CSV downloads no longer error
The Download as CSV option on the API Logs page now successfully generates and downloads CSV files for large datasets. Previously, downloading API logs for large date ranges or high record volumes resulted in errors such asCSV file is still being generated. Please try again laterandAn error occurred while generating the CSV file.
Management Console
- Deleting an environment now removes associated resources
Deleting an environment from the Management Console Environments page now automatically deletes all associated Cloud Datastore storages, message queues, and client certificates. Previously, deleting an environment could leave orphaned resources that could no longer be edited or deleted, causing logout errors when accessed.
Studio
- Improved project loading performance
Opening a project in Studio is now significantly faster in environments with a large number of projects and operations.
Studio SDK connectors
-
BMC Helix ITSM connector SSLException error resolved
An intermittentSSLException: Connection reseterror that occurred during HTTPS calls made by the BMC Helix ITSM connector in certain cases has been resolved. -
HTTP v2 connector OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials now supports token endpoints that omit
expires_in
The HTTP v2 connector's Client Credentials Grant OAuth 2.0 type now generates an access token when the OAuth token endpoint's response does not include anexpires_infield. Previously, token generation failed against endpoints that omit this field. -
OpenAI Create Image activity now generates images using
gpt-image-2
The OpenAI Create Image activity previously used the deprecateddall-e-2model, which caused the activity to fail. The activity now uses thegpt-image-2model and includes new optional settings: Output Format (jpeg, png, webp), Number of Images, Quality, Output Compression, Moderation, and Background. Image data is returned as a Base64-encoded JSON string (b64_json); URL-format responses are no longer supported.

Retirement of 11.x private agent versioning
The 11.59 / 12.3 release included the final 11.x private agent version (11.59) and the first available 12.x private agent version (12.3). Note the following regarding future releases:-
Final 11.x version: The 11.x private agent version has reached the end of its planned development. All future enhancements, new features, and security updates will be delivered through 12.x private agents. While 11.x agents may receive rare critical fixes for production-impacting issues, no ongoing releases are planned.
-
Recommendation: We strongly recommend upgrading to 12.x private agents as soon as possible to benefit from the latest performance, security, and feature improvements.
-
Upgrade path: You can upgrade directly from 11.x to any 12.x version using our documented upgrade instructions: Windows, Linux, or Docker.
-
Actions required: Plugin updates and verification of custom connectors for 12.x private agents
-
Plugin updates for 12.x private agents
Performance and security enhancements for 12.x private agents are incompatible with the Multipart Pipeline and AWS S3 Create Plugins. If you use these plugins, user action is required as described in the upgrade instructions. -
Verification of custom connectors for 12.x private agents
Connector SDK connectors that are provided by a third party must undergo development changes to be compatible with 12.x private agents. Before upgrading to 12.x private agents, verify compatibility with the connector developer, or operations using those connectors will begin failing at the time of upgrade.

Action required: Upcoming removal of deprecated Cloud Datastore Query Items activity
In an upcoming release, the deprecated Query Items activity in the Cloud Datastore connector will be permanently removed. This activity was replaced in the 11.47 release by the redesigned Query Items activity, whose flattened response structure returns the individual fields you define in the Management Console Cloud Datastore page directly at the top level of the response.Important
If you are using the deprecated Query Items activity in any operations, you must review your operation design and replace it with the redesigned Query Items activity as soon as possible. The deprecated activity is no longer supported and will be removed in a future release.
