New features
Connectors
-
Jitterbit App Builder connector
The Studio Jitterbit App Builder connector can be used with cloud or private agents to read, create, update, or delete data in an App Builder application by consuming the OpenAPI document that application publishes. -
Microsoft Excel v3 (Beta) connector
The Studio Microsoft Excel v3 (Beta) connector can be used with private agent version 12.3 or later to read, insert, update, or delete rows in Microsoft Excel workbook files (.xlsxand.xls) at a local or network path accessible to the agent. To provide beta feedback, contact the Jitterbit Product Team. -
Ollama connector
The Studio Ollama connector can be used with cloud or private agents to send prompts to and register tools with models hosted by Ollama, either through Ollama Cloud or a self-hosted Ollama server. Registering tools requires private agents.
EDI
- EDI AI monitor (Beta)
The new EDI AI monitor (Beta) watches your organization's Jitterbit EDI activity across FTP, AS2, and transactions, and emails you when activity is unusual compared with its recent history, such as a rise in failures or an unusual drop in volume. Turn on the EDI AI monitor from the Management Console Alerts page. To provide feedback on this beta feature, contact the Jitterbit Product Team.
Management Console
-
New alerts on the Management Console Alerts page
The Management Console Alerts page has four new events:- API request ended with status code (Beta): Sends an alert when a request to a selected custom API, proxy API, or OData service ends with one of the HTTP status codes you specify.
- EDI AI monitor (Beta): Sends an alert when a transaction, FTP, or AS2 anomaly is detected. See EDI AI monitor (Beta).
- Operation ended in terminal status (Beta): Sends an alert when a selected operation ends in one of the selected terminal statuses (Canceled, Success, Success with Info, Success with Warning, Success with Child Error, Error, or SOAP Fault).
- Operation status duration threshold exceeded (Beta): Sends an alert when a selected operation remains in one of the selected non-terminal statuses (Submitted, Received, Pending, Running, or Cancel Requested) longer than a duration threshold you set.
Enhancements
Agent
- Apache Tomcat upgrade
The Apache Tomcat server included with the agent has been upgraded to improve security and performance.
API gateway
- Multibyte characters now supported in private API gateway domain names
Thejitterbit-api-gateway-configcommand now accepts a custom private API gateway domain name containing multibyte characters. The command converts the domain name to Punycode for DNS validation and for the self-diagnostic API call. Register the Punycode form of the domain name in your DNS or hosts file, and request your SSL certificate for the Punycode form.
API Manager
-
Export and import of custom APIs with linked Studio projects
When you export custom APIs, you can now select Include linked Studio projects to add the Studio projects that contain their operations to the export file. When you import the file, API Manager creates each project in the destination environment, deploys the operations you select, and connects each API service to its operation. -
Path, query, and header parameters for proxy APIs
Proxy API services now detect and display path, query, and header parameters on the Services tab, matching the parameter support already available for custom APIs. Path parameters are listed automatically for each{parameterName}token in the service Path (for example,/orders/{orderId}), including paths entered manually. Query and header parameters are detected from an OpenAPI document or added manually. -
Security profile filter for API logs
The API Logs page now includes a Security profile field in the search panel, and asecurityProfilesearch criterion, so you can filter log entries by security profile name.
Connectors
-
Coupa connector R46 support
The Studio Coupa connector now uses version R46 of the Coupa Core Platform API. With this upgrade, the External Orders, Services Procurement, Coupa Pay Travel & Expense Payments, and Requisitions objects are now supported. To use the new objects with existing activities, refresh their schemas. The/receivable_purchase_order_linesendpoint, which the Core Platform API no longer includes, is removed from the connector. -
Jira connector support for webhooks, labels, user details, and attachments
The Studio Jira connector has new objects for connections that use the Jira Cloud instance type:- Webhook: Create, search for, and delete Jira webhooks using the Create, Search, and Delete activities.
- Issue_labels, Add_label, and Remove_label: Replace, add, or remove an issue's labels without updating other issue fields, using the Update activity.
- Myself: Retrieve the profile details of the authenticated Jira user using the Search activity.
- List_attachments and Get_attachment: List an issue's attachments or retrieve an attachment's metadata by ID using the Search activity.
- Get_attachment_base64_content: Retrieve an attachment's metadata and its file data as a base64-encoded string using the Search activity. This object is available on private agents only.
EDI
-
Dedicated Communications page for EDI connections
You now manage AS2, FTP, and VAN connections on a dedicated Communications page, which you open from the EDI menu in the Harmony portal, instead of on a trading partner's Communication settings tab. Selecting a connection opens a drawer with a Settings tab for the connection's fields and a Trading partners tab where you assign trading partners to the connection. -
Real-time updates across EDI pages
Changes to trading partners, workflows, labels, preferred IDs, and communication settings on the Trading Partners page now appear immediately for all users without requiring a manual page refresh. When a trading partner is added, deleted, or imported, the trading partner filters on the Transactions, Messaging, Archive, and Analytics pages update automatically. When a workflow is added or deleted, the document type filters on the Transactions, Archive, and Analytics pages update the same way. If a deletion affects something you're currently viewing, editing, or using as a filter or selection, a notification explains what changed. -
TRADACOMS partner ID length increased
A TRADACOMS trading partner's Partner ID now accepts 1–14 alphanumeric characters, increased from exactly 12.
Harmony platform
- Multibyte characters now supported in organization API subdomains
An organization's API subdomain can now include multibyte characters in addition to lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Management Console
-
Project details export to CSV on the Projects page
You can now export project details from the Management Console Projects page to CSV files, as a reference for auditing, migration planning, or documentation. Select individual projects, or all projects matching the current filters, and click Download ZIP file to choose which files to include: project details, operations, schedules, backups, project variables, deploy history, listeners, and endpoints. Only data you have permission to view is included. -
Cross-organization external users
On the Management Console User Management page, you can now add a user who belongs to another organization as an external user. A user can be a Harmony user or an external user in one organization and an external user in another, using the same email address. -
Ability to pause and resume alerts
You can now pause an alert on the Management Console Alerts page without deleting it, for example during planned maintenance. A paused alert keeps its configuration but doesn't send notifications. Pause an alert starting now or on a future date, and ending on a date you choose or indefinitely, and resume it at any time. A new Status column shows whether each alert is active or paused. -
Chat history for the APIM and Management AI Assistants
The APIM AI Assistant and Management AI Assistant (Beta) include Home and History controls on the Management Console AI Assistant page for returning to the current chat and browsing your previous chats. -
Management AI Assistant support for app registrations
The Management AI Assistant (Beta) can now list, search, create, edit, and delete app registrations.
MCP
-
Jitterbit MCP (Beta) usability enhancements
The Servers page in Jitterbit MCP (Beta) includes these enhancements:- A new Go to Operation action on operation tools opens the linked operation in Studio.
- The Go to API action on Jitterbit API tools and resources now opens the linked API in API Manager with the Services tab selected.
- The Tools tab table now includes a Context column showing each tool's key configuration, such as the API endpoint and path or the project and operation.
- The Request and Response fields on the Testing tab now include a search, Response and Structured content are combined in one field, and a full-screen view is available.
- The Testing tab also now displays a Type or Content Source badge on each tool and resource, collapses Logs until you click Execute, and masks the Auth token field as you type.
Studio
- Environment-specific OAuth applications in selective transfer
The selective transfer feature has a new Configure OAuth endpoints step. A transfer now keeps the OAuth application that each endpoint uses in the target environment. To replace it with the source environment's OAuth application, select Transfer application.
Changes
Connectors
- ServiceNow connector deprecation
The ServiceNow connector is now marked (Deprecated) in Studio and is no longer supported. Use the ServiceNow v2 connector instead.
Fixes
Agent
-
Database Query activity now reads SQL Server string data correctly
The Studio Database Query activity now reads string data correctly. This applies to SQL Server databases accessed over ODBC on private agents. Previously, since the 12.7 release, string values could be returned as corrupted characters. -
Design Studio email messages now send using OAuth 2.0 without an account and password
Design Studio email messages that use OAuth 2.0 parameters in the SMTP Mail Servers field now send successfully when Use authentication is cleared, using theclient_credentialsgrant type. Previously, the email message failed with anAADSTS900144error unless an account and password were also entered. Use authentication is not needed with theclient_credentialsgrant type. See Grant types. -
Microsoft Entra authentication now works with the SQL Server Microsoft JDBC driver
The agent now includes the Microsoft Authentication Library for Java (MSAL4J) libraries required for Microsoft Entra authentication with the SQL Server MS JDBC driver (authentication=ActiveDirectoryPassword). Previously, since the 12.8 release, these connections failed with the errorFailed to load MSAL4J Java library. -
Windows private agents no longer terminate unexpectedly in the operation engine process
In certain circumstances, the operation engine process (JitterbitOperationEngineProc.exe) on Windows private agents no longer terminates unexpectedly with exit code-1073741819(0xc0000005), which could leave operations in Pending status.
Connectors
-
MCP Client List Tools activity response schema now includes
_meta
The response schema for the MCP Client List Tools activity now includes the_metafield returned for each tool by the MCP server. Because the content of this field is unstructured, it is returned as a single string. Previously, this missing field caused successful operations to report aSuccess with Warningstatus instead ofSuccess with Info. To apply this fix to an existing activity, regenerate its schemas. -
OpenAI Create Image activity response schema now includes
safety_identifier
The response schema for the OpenAI Create Image activity now includes thesafety_identifierfield returned by the OpenAI API. Previously, this missing field caused successful operations to report aSuccess with Warningstatus instead ofSuccess with Info. To apply this fix to an existing activity, regenerate its schemas. -
Snowflake Update activity now loads request and response schemas
The Snowflake Update activity now loads its request and response schemas correctly when you configure it. Previously, the final configuration step displayed an error indicating the schemas could not be loaded.
EDI
- Testing an FTP or AS2 connection now works
The Test connection button on a trading partner's Communications page now correctly tests FTP and AS2 connections. Previously, clicking the button returned an error indicating the connection failed even when the connection was configured correctly.
Harmony portal
- SSO users returning to an idle Harmony portal tab are now redirected to the login page
When a Harmony SSO user returns to a Harmony portal tab that stayed open past the idle session limit, the user is now logged out and redirected to the login page, and can log in again successfully. Previously, the tab could repeatedly redirect to login until the user cleared browser cookies.
Management Console
- Runtime page Log Type search now supports wildcards
The Management Console Runtime pagelogTypesearch key now accepts the%and*wildcard characters in the middle or at the end of the value (for example, logType=Oper%;).
Studio
- WSDL and ZIP file validation errors in SOAP connection uploads
The SOAP connection now validates an uploaded WSDL or ZIP file immediately and displays an error that identifies the problem if the file is not valid. Valid WSDL and ZIP files, including ZIP files that contain XSD files, upload successfully. Previously, uploading some ZIP files could hang until the request timed out with an HTTP 504 error, which prevented you from configuring the connection and deploying the project.

Retirement of 11.x private agent versioning
The 11.59 / 12.3 release included the final 11.x private agent version (11.59) and the first available 12.x private agent version (12.3). Note the following regarding future releases:- Final 11.x version: The 11.x private agent version has reached the end of its planned development. All future enhancements, new features, and security updates will be delivered through 12.x private agents. While 11.x agents may receive rare critical fixes for production-impacting issues, no ongoing releases are planned.
- Recommendation: We strongly recommend upgrading to 12.x private agents as soon as possible to benefit from the latest performance, security, and feature improvements.
- Upgrade path: You can upgrade directly from 11.x to any 12.x version using our documented upgrade instructions: Windows, Linux, or Docker.
Actions required: Plugin updates and verification of custom connectors for 12.x private agents
- Plugin updates for 12.x private agents
Performance and security enhancements for 12.x private agents are incompatible with the Multipart Pipeline and AWS S3 Create Plugins. If you use these plugins, user action is required as described in the upgrade instructions. - Verification of custom connectors for 12.x private agents
Connectors built by a third party with the Connector SDK must undergo development changes to be compatible with 12.x private agents. Before upgrading to 12.x private agents, verify compatibility with the connector developer, or operations using those connectors will begin failing at the time of upgrade.

Action required: Upcoming removal of deprecated connectors and activities
The following connectors and activities are deprecated and no longer supported, and will be permanently removed in an upcoming release:- The deprecated Query Items activity in the Cloud Datastore connector. This activity was replaced in the 11.47 release by the redesigned Query Items activity, whose flattened response structure returns the individual fields you define in the Management Console Cloud Datastore page directly at the top level of the response.
- The OpenAI Prompt and Register Tools activities. Both were replaced in the 12.8 release by the redesigned Prompt V2 and Register Tools V2 activities, whose use of OpenAI's Responses API makes it possible to persist chat context and call registered tools on cloud agent groups, not just private agents.
- The ServiceNow connector. Use the ServiceNow v2 connector instead.
Important
If you are using any of these deprecated connectors or activities in your operations, you must review your operation design and replace them with their listed replacements as soon as possible, as they are no longer supported and will be removed in a future release.
