VAN communications in Jitterbit EDI
Introduction
A VAN (Value-Added Network) is a private service that acts like a secure digital post office for exchanging EDI documents between businesses.
Jitterbit offers a VAN managed connection which, when configured, you can assign to one or more trading partners.
The VAN connection appears on the Communications page with the protocol VAN. You can edit it only while it is active, which happens after Jitterbit grants the entitlement to your organization and environment. Its Active toggle is locked, and its row has only the Edit icon (no Delete icon). The only setting you can change is which trading partners are assigned to it.
Create a VAN connection
You cannot create a VAN connection yourself.
To have it set up, contact Jitterbit support or your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
